A new movie titled 'Obama' that has Prithvi Pandiarajan, Poonisha, Janagaraj, K.S. Ravikumar and Ramesh Khanna is getting ready for release. Vijay Sethupathi has played an important character in the film and it surprised the industry since its sucha a small film.

Director Nani Bala has revealed that the team had fixed a popular actor to play the character but at the last moment he pulled out and they were in a fix. It is then that the legendary comedian who plays an important role told them that he will make an attempt and called '96' director Premkumar and asked him if he can connect to Vijay Sethupathi.

The Makkal Selvan on learning that the senior actor Janagaraj had made the request without any further questions allotted dates and completed his work for the team. The entire Kollywood industry is amazed that at a time when even one film old actors show disrespect towards seniors the much accomplished Vijay Sethupathi has obliged just out of the respect he has for his forerunners.

When asked how he thought that Vijay Sethupathi would oblige, Janagaraj has stated that when working in '96' the star showed him genuine love and respect and thats why he came to his mind immediately.
