Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is currently basking in the success of his 50th film, “Maharaja.” The film directed by Nithilan Swaminathan has already grossed more than 80 crores and is marching towards the 100-crore mark. Now, the actor is said to be in talks with a controversial director for a new film.
According to the latest reports, Vijay Sethupathi and director Ram Gopal Varma are teaming up for an untitled project, with ‘Kaala’ fame actor Nana Patekar playing the antagonist. Ram Gopal Varma, known for his cult classics like ‘Shiva’, ‘Rangeela’, ‘Satya’, ‘Raat’, ‘Drohi’, ‘Kaun’, and ‘Rakta Charitra’, brings his directorial prowess to this highly anticipated collaboration.
Recently, RGV has been surrounded by controversy due to his involvement with various actresses and the production of B-grade movies. Notably, RGV and Vijay Sethupathi met back in May. As of now, this news remains a rumour, and we will have to wait to see if this collaboration materializes. On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi has several upcoming projects, including “Ace,” “Gandhi Talks,” “Train,” and “Viduthalai Part 2.”
