Vijay Sethupathi-Nayanthara starrer 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' which released to thunderous response from movie buffs is on the verge of becoming a super hit. The first day box office collection made by the film in Tamil Nadu was Rs.2.16 crores which was a record openiung for a Vijay Sethpathi film.

Now the trade circles reveal that the Vignesh Sivan directorial has collected 2.27 crores on the second day of release and going steady on the third day. With two more days left in the weekend the film is all set to have a phenomenal opening weekend collections.

'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner has been lapped up by the audience and critics as a neat entertainer with a good share of comedy, romance, action and sentiment. The film is considered as the much needed break in Vijay Sethupathi's acting career which was marred by a slew of flops in the recent years. His acting as a wannabe rowdy has garnered much acclaim and Nayanthara's stellar performance as a hearing impaired girl is being praised as one of the towering performances of her career that has crossed a decade.

Anirudh's music, Parthiepan's unique acting as a the lead villain and RJ Balaji's comedy have also come in handy for the unanimous appeal of the film.
