Vijay Sethupathi, one of the most versatile and leading actors of Tamil cinema, is currently acting in several Hindi films namely 'Merry Christmas', 'Jawan' and 'Gandhi Talks'.

'Merry Christmas' directed by Sriram Raghavan particularly is in its final stages of shooting. The film stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi while Radhika Sarathkumar, Sanjay Kapoor, Tinu Anand and others for the rest of the cast.

The latest addition to the cast of 'Merry Christmaas' is Radhika Apte who is apparently playing a guest role but her character is kept in suspense. Radhika who is one of the most sought after actresses in Hindi and English parallel cinema is familiar to Tamil audiences having starred Karthi in 'All in All Azhaguraja' and especially as Superstar Rajinikanth's pair in the blockbuster hit 'Kabali' directed by Pa Ranjith.

Vijay Sethupathi on the other hand is currently in Malaysia shooting for his 51st film directed by Arumuga Kumar. His milestone 50th film has been titled 'Maharaja' directed by Nithilan Swaminathan is also under production. Vijay Sethupathi is also expected to allot ten more days of Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai 2' in the coming weeks.
