At the recently held pre-release event of Vijay Sethupathi's Telugu film Uppena, Chiranjeevi said he was amazed by the way the Vijay Sethupathi pulled off his role and called him “ennoda nanban”, praising Vijay Sethupathi for the way he held his attention whenever he came on screen, and called him a versatile actor. Chiranjeevi said that when they worked together in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy when they shot in Georgia many fans were shouting at the place where the crew was staying, and when Chiranjeevi went to meet them, he found that they were fans of Vijay Sethupathi and that he was happy seeing Vijay Sethupathi craze all over the world.
