Vijay Sethupathi confirms that Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai' gets a step closer to the finish line!

Vetrimaaran is one of the most successful directors in Indian cinema. We all know that he is currently busy with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Viduthalai'. Today, Vijay Sethupathi took to his social media page to share a massive update on the film's progress.

The team was recently shooting an intense stunt sequence in Kodaikanal. The action sequence choreographed by Peter Hein was being shot at Poombarai in Kodaikanal on a grand scale and the latest is that the Kodaikanal schedule of shooting has been wrapped up. VJS shared pictures with the crew from the sets this morning to update the same.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as a teacher while Soori portrays a police constable. Based on a short story by Jeyamohan, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Chethan and Bhavani Sre are cast in important roles. Isai Gnani Ilaiyaraaja is composing music for the movie produced by RS Infotainment.

'Viduthalai' will be made and released in two parts. Vetrimaaran will wrap up the shooting for both parts soon. The team is in the process of shooting the final schedule currently. It is one of the most awaited projects in Tamil cinema.
