After back to back hits 'Sethupathi' and 'Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum', versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi's next release will be 'Iraivi' directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which will is expected to hit the screens on May 20, 2016.

After completing 'Iraivi', Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy shooting for 'Aandavan Kattalai' directed by Manikandan of 'Kaaka Muttai' fame. The shooting of this film which stars Rithika Singh of 'Irudhi Suttru' fame as female lead has reportedly reached the final stages.

From the month of May, the 'Soodhu Kavvum' star will start shooting for a new film 'Rekka' to be directed by Rathna Siva whose debut film'Vaa Deal' with Arun Vijay is yet to release. The team had recently conducted the preliminary photo shoot with its lead pair Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon. This is the first time the duo has paired up for a film.

Sources reveal that the film will be officially launched with a formal pooja on May 6 and the shooting will commence on May 11.

'Rekka' is being produced by Ganesh of Common Man Productions. D.Imman has been roped in to score music. Ganesh Chandra will be handling the cinematography.
