Within two weeks gap after the release of critically acclaimed super hit 'Aandavan Kattalai' versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi will have another release in the form of 'Rekka' directed by Rathna Siva.

The film touted to be a commercial mass entertainer is all set to hit the screens on October 7 2016 for the long Pooja holidays. Now adding more fortunes, it has been confirmed that the film has received a clean U certificate from the Censor board officials.

This is the sixth release of the year for Vijay Sethupathi and fifth with a clean U rating except Karthik Subbaraj's 'Iraivi' that got a U/A.

Interestingly the other two grand Tamil releases on the same weekend. 'Remo' and 'Devi' have also achieved a clean U rating.

'Rekka' stars Vijay Sethupathi, Lakshmi Menon, Harish Uthaman, Sathish and K.S.Ravikumar and many others in important roles. The film has been produced by Ganesh of Common Pictures.
