Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, who is a busy actor in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other South Indian languages, is also acting in multiple projects in Bollywood. Indiaglitz had already updated you that star is set to star in a web series by Raj & DK and a movie in Sriram Raghavan's direction.

Now, the versatile actor has kickstarted the shooting of his film with the Andhadhun fame director Sriram Raghavan. Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing screen space with the bewitching Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif in this project titled "Merry Christmas". The filming has commenced recently in Mumbai and a photo from the shooting spot is viral on social media.

Merry Christmas is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray. Sources say that Sriram Raghavan has promised Vijay Sethupathi to complete the shoot in one go so that the actor can concentrate on the other projects. Touted to be a 90-minute film without any songs, the film will be predominantly shot in Mumbai, Pune, and surrounding locales.

Merry Christmas is also the immediate next film of Sriram Raghavan after his blockbuster, National Award-winning black comedy thriller - Andhadhun. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on December 23, 2022, for the Christmas Weekend.
