As we had reported earlier versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi and director Gokul of who had earlier teamed for the super hit 'Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara' have teamed up again for the sequel of the same film.

We learn that Vijay Sethupathi and Ashwin Kakamanu who played the male leads will be retained in their respective roles. But the team is yet to decide about the heroines. Whether Nandita Swetha and Swathi Reddy will be retained or not is something we have to wait and watch. SIddharth VIpin is likely to be retained for the musical score

We also learn that the sequel will be a period drama that is the story will happen in the bygone years of the history. It will be interesting to watch how the unique characters Sumar Moonji Kumaru and Romba Sumar Moonji Kumaru will work in a period setting.

The official announcement on the sequel is expected once the director completes 'Kaashmora' with Karthi and Nayanthara in lead roles.
