The teaser of 'Oru Nalla Naal Paarthu Solren' starring Gautham Karthick and Vijay Sethupathi impressed everyone with its quirky dialogues and shots.  Especially the piece that Vijay Sethupathi mouths about how Ravanan who kept Seetha safe in his custody is branded a villain and Raman who could not stop his wife being put to fire is celebrated as a hero was one of the high points.

Producer-director Arumugakumar has stated that he has decided to remove the above mentioned dialogue from 'Oru Nalla Naal Paarthu Solren' as it did not go down well with some sections of people.  He stated that he has replaced it with an even more hard hitting lines which would make fans go crazy.

Arumugakumar revealed that he had done extensive research among the Nilgiri tribes like Todas, Badagas and Kurumbas apart from Lamardis to authentically reproduce their life styles in the film.  Gautham Karthick plays a city bred man whose world collides with a tribal leader played by Vijay Sethupathi and the cross culture incites many a funny moment in the story.  The film that has music by Justin Prabhakaran and costars Gaythree, Niharika Konidela, Viji Chandrasekhar and Ramesh Tilak hits the screens on the 2nd of February.
