Cheran reveals the highly emotional story of his Vijay Sethupathi film

Director Cheran is one of the most influential Tamil directors of this generation who has promoted family values and relationships in numerous film such as ‘Bharathi Kannamma’, ‘Porkaalam’ ,’Vettri Kodi Kattu’, ‘Pandava Bhoomi’, ‘Autograph’ and ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’.

On Saturday ‘Thavamai Thavamirunthu’ starring Rajkiran, Saranya and Cheran was telecast in the television channels and hundreds of internet users commented on Twitter that the film is of a high class promoting the bonding with father and sons and the sacrifices of the father.

Cheran has revealed that much like ‘Thavamai Thavamiruthu’ his next screenplay that he has written for Vijay Sethupathi explores the loving bond between a brother and sister and will be long remembered by siblings for its unique story.  Cheran also wondered when the time will come for him to film the script.  VJS a few years earlier had promised a film with Cheran but the project has not taken flight till date.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently very busy with films such as ‘Master’, ‘Upenna’, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, ‘Laabam’, Tuglak Darbar’, ‘Ka Pe Ranasingham’, ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’ and others.
