As the movie is nearing release, fans of Vijay Sethupathi have did an unique way of promoting the movie. In Kallakurichi, a farmer named Prakash was in need of money for farming, and planned to borrow money from a lender. However, Kallakurichi Vijay Sethupathi fans club members came to his help.

The fan club members had earlier planned not to place any banners or hoardings to celebrate the release of Sanga Thamizhan and were planning to give seeds and small plants to people coming to watch the movie. Hearing the issue of Prakash, they decided to help him and as a first step they have given him 10000 rupees, and also went on to plough the land themselves, and this great act of Vijay Sethupathi fans has been appreciated by many.
