Vijay Sethupathi the intense actor is not only known for portraying people on the edge on screen but also for devoting time for causes.  He recently participated in an event organised for transgenders in which he got highly emotional.

Vijay Sethupathi said that after playing Shilpa a transgender in the upcoming movie 'Super Deluxe' has felt the pain of rejection from the society.  In his speech he stated that transgenders and women should not expect their freedom from anyone but take it in their hands.  He said that his dream is to see the third gender rise in stature to equality in the society.
