First look of Vijay Sethupathi's Bollywood movie revealed

Vijay Sethupathi has released the official first look poster of his upcoming Bollywood film, Mumbaikar, directed by Santosh Sivan. The movie also stars Vikrant Massey, Sachin Khedekar, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey among others, in pivotal roles.
Mumbaikar is reportedly the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Kollywood action thriller, Maanagaram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The original version featured Sri, Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. The first look of 'Mumbaikar' shows the main characters of the film on a map of Mumbai with the sea link backdrop. Maanagaram tells the story of a young man who moves to Chennai and gets embroiled in trouble in a case of mistaken identity. The plot further goes on to connect the lives of four youngsters culminating in the riveting ending.
Vijay Sethupathi is expected to portray the role of Munishkanth from the original version. Helmed by Riya Shibu, Mumbaikar will have music composed by Prashant Pillai.
