One of the most exciting projects currently under production in Tamil cinema is the multi starrer Iraivi` directed by Karthick Subbaraj which has Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Karunakaran, Anjali, Kamalinee Mukherji , Pooja Devariya, Radharavi, Vadivukarasi and S. J. Surya in the lead roles.

Karthick Subbaraj in a recent press interaction revealed that the title Iraivi` is the feminine word for Iraivan which means God. He also let out that his new film is centered on how women influence men in todays society and has a lot of scope for the heroines.

The just released teaser of Iraivi` however, only gives us a glimpse of the women and focuses more on shots of the light and dark emotions of the men in the film with the charisma of S.J. Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Bobby Simha in full flow. The teaser works to a great extent because the genre is still beyond a guess thereby rising the expectations of the viewer. Full marks for this to Karthick Subbaraj whose signature stamp is embedded throughout with able support from Santhosh Narayanan, editor Vivek Harshan and cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan. The tip of the iceberg indicates another surefire winner for C.V. Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment.
