Vijay Sethupathi's 'Seethakathi' is one of the most interesting films of the year that has the talented actor playing an eighty-five year old drama actor. The sneak peek footage was released and we get to see a middle aged Ayya acting in a politically charged scene in a stage play.

In the drama scene in 'Seethakathi' Ayya (Vijay Sethupathi) is on a witness stand and the public prosecutor is accusing him of donating money to people who criticize the government. The Makkal Selvan as Ayya makes the strong political statement that he will not be a slave of the government and will help those who he likes. He looks at the audience and tells them that governments are for the people and not vice versa as the applause begins. Looks like director Balaji Tharaneetharan has loaded the film with political satire that reflects the current scenario too. It's only a two day wait as the film hits the screens on Thursday December 20th.
