Makkal Selvan launches special app!

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is a busy actor, shuttling between multiple movies like Maamanithan with Seenu Ramasamy, Vijay Chandar's untitled next, debutant Venkata Krishna Roganth's next, besides also rocking in his new avatar as a television host with the hit show Namma Ooru Hero.

Today the actor had been invited as a special guest for an event organised by Chennai police. The event marked the launch of a special app developed by Chennai police named as Digicop. The app was launched by the commissioner AK Viswanathan, in Veppery, Chennai.

This app can be used to find if the mobiles purchased second hand are stolen mobiles, besides also helping to trace lost mobiles and file complaints in case of mobile thefts. Speaking at the event, Vijay Sethupathi said that Digicop app will help reduce the distance between cops and public, and Digicop has come as a perfect solution for people on whom to approach during issues.
