The superstar had stated that the attacker was in an inebriated condition and addressed him by calling out that they belonged to the same caste. The 'Master' actor had told the person that they could talk later after which he attacked and injured his manager before being subdued by the airport security.
The issue was reported to have been settled out of court but the alleged attacker Maha Gandhi later gave interviews pinning the blame on the other side. Now the person has filed a case in the Saidapet Court seeking criminal action on Vijay Sethupathi and his manager Johnson. In the petition he had stated that he was travelling to Mysore for a medical checkup on November 2nd when he met Vijay Sethpathi at the Bengaluru airport.
Maha Gandhi further added that since he was also an actor he tried to strike a conversation with Vijay Sethupathi praising him for his achievements especially him bagging the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for 'Super Deluxe'.
