In the current scenario Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi who made it big at just about the same period of time are placed on that pedestal by fans and critics.

In the upcoming movie Rekka' , Vijay Sethupathi plays a diehard fan of Sivakarthikeyan and a song has been shot on him celebrating the release of the latter's Maan Karate' and watching the first day first show. Both the stars are fast friends who always wish each other when new films release or on other personal days of significance.
