Vijay Sethupathi to portray a great cricketer in new biopic?

It is raining biopics lately and currently, cricket is the hot favourite with the Kapil Dev biopic titled '83' is progressing fast with Ranveer Singh playing the former captain, Deepika Padukone as Roma Dev and Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikanth. The latest news is that a team is planning a biopic on legendary spin wizard Muttiah Muralidharan titled '800' denoting the world record number of wickets that he snared.
It is said that Vijay Sethupathi is likely to portray Murali in '800' and shooting is planned to begin in December 2019 on locations in Tamil Nadu, Sri Lanka, Australia and London. We have to wait for an official announcement on this one and our sources could not reach VJS for comments.
Vijay Sethuapthi is starring in a number of movies including 'Kadaisi Vivasayi', 'Sanga Thamizhan', 'Laabam', 'Sye Raa' and others.
