Young director Karthik Subbaraj has released the first look of his upcoming film 'Iraivi' in his social media page and has announced that the teaser will be released on January 8, 2016 at 6 pm.

'Iraivi' is the third directorial venture of Karthik Subbaraj who entered film industry with the super hit horror film 'Pizza'. His second film 'Jigarthanda' was equally successful and also won a the National award for the Best Supporting actor for Bobby Simha who acted as the antagonist in the flick.

The third film of this promising youngster includes Vijay Sethupathi and Bobby Simha apart from Anjali. S.J.Suryah and Kamalini Mukharjee in lead roles. Karunakaran is also acting in an important role in this film like the first two films of Karthik Subbaraj. The film is touted to be female centric and the director in his earlier interviews had stated that this will be an ode to the women we come across in our day to day life. To prove the point, the first look design carries the tag, 'Idhu sila womengalin kadhai' (Its the story of a few women).
