The much awaited Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Sethupathi' reported to have cleared Censor formalities with a clean 'U'. And now it is all geared up to release worldwide on February 19 - with premiers on Feb 18 in USA - on a grand scale. Incidentally this is the first movie apart from superstar Rajinikanth's films to get released in Japan.

Post his debut film 'Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum', Arunkumar is back with 'Sethupathi'. Remya Nambeesan yet again is paired with Sethupathi for second time, after 'Pizza'.

'Sethupathi' grabbed enough attention through its trailer - which is already a hit with punchlines like "Police thaan Hero, Police thaan Gethu'. There is a lot of hype surrounding this cop movie and it promises to have Vijay Sethupathi's trademark style entertainment, blended with family emotions and sentiments.

Nivas K Prasanna's music has been well received and songs "Hawa Hawa", "Konji Pesida Venaam" and "Hey Mama" are already a rage on radio and music channels.
