Vijay Sethupathi played the ruthless villain Bhavani in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. His terrific performance was one of the major highlights of the film which became a blockbuster hit in spite of the fifty percent theater occupancy during the peak pandemic time.

It has been reported that Vijay Sethupathi has agreed to make a special appearance in the new movie 'Azhagiya Kannae' produced by Esthel Entertainment owned by Xavier Britto who bankrolled 'Master'. The film has popular public speaker Dindugal Leoni's son Leo Shivakumar and Sanchana Shetty as the lead pair with Amudhavanan, Andrews, Singampuli, Rajkapoor, Kadhal Sukumar and others.

Director Prabhu Solomon is also playing a important character in 'Azhagiya Kannae' directed by Vijayakumar an erstwhile associate of Seenu Ramaswamy which is now in postproduction and is expected to release soon.
