Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi had begun his career with small roles, before being elevated to a hero in Seenu Ramasamy's Thenmerku Paruvakatru and went on to score his first commercial success with Pizza directed by Karthik subbaraj.

Following Pizza, the combo worked in Jigarthanda as well where Vijay Sethupathi played a cameo, and then he played the lead role in Iraivi and recently, Vijay Sethupathi was seen playing the antagonist Jithu in Karthik Subbaraj's latest offering Petta.

Now the actor is all set to join hands with Karthik Subbaraj again and this time there'll be a difference. Karthik subbaraj will produce Vijay Sethupathi's next, which will be directed by rural comedy entertainer specialist Ponram. This movie will begin rolling from May 2020 once Vijay Sethupathi wraps his current commitments.
