Post ‘Thupaki’, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has a slick action entertainer ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’ with Gautham Menon. Now, if sources are to be believed, he will be teaming up with ‘Thupaki’s cinematographer, multi-faceted Santosh Sivan for a film!

The duo is said to joining hands for a film and that they are getting along well in the sets of the action entertainer. Sources further add that this will be an offbeat venture, a genre the Ilayathalapathy usually refrains from.

“Vijay is awestruck with Santosh’s work in ‘Thupaki’, and he asked Santosh Sivan to come up with a script for him. Santosh is planning to approach him with an offbeat venture”, says a source close to the unit.

Meanwhile grapevine has it that Vijay will be singing a song in this film that has tunes by Harris Jayaraj.

It looks like the Ilayathalapathy is all set to try his hands at varied ventures this year, that already started off on a brilliant note for him, what with the success of ‘Nanban’ that is still running strong.
