Ilayathalapathy VIjay's 'Theri' has created huge box office records and it has successfully completed the three weeks at the Box office with the same momentum. The new releases has not shaken the box office potential of this Atlee directorial.

In its third weekend between April 29 to May 1, 'Theri' has collected Rs.82,30,790 with 286 shows in 20 theaters across the city. 80% of the screens were occupied.

Now the total collection of 'Theri' has come more closer to Rs.10 crores in Chennai alone. So far the film has collected Rs.9,86,18,295 in Chennai alone from April; 14 to May 1, 2016.

'Theri' has been produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu of V Creations banner. The film stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles.

Meanwhile Vijay is expected to resume shooting for his next film (Vijay 60) from today in Chennai.
