Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' shooting is going on at a rapid speed and the film is scheduled to hit the screens for Diwali festival in October. There is humungous level of expectations for the film as it marks the reunion of Vijay with director Atlee after the blockbuster 'Theri' and also because Vijay plays triple roles in the film with three heroines and that the music score is by Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman.

Due to this extraordinary pre-release buzz the competition to win the satellite telecast right of the film which is the prestigious 100th production venture of Thenandal banner is sky high.

Unconfirmed sources reveal that the Zee Tamil channel which has been getting good TRP rates due to its recent attractive programmes has successfully clinched deal. It is also rumored that Zee Tamil has paid a never before sum of Rs.30 crores for the Television telecast rights of 'Mersal'.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
