How long it has been since we saw a Vijay film trailer or a teaser without a punch dialogue. The two minute long trailer of the much loved star's upcoming film Theri' released amid roaring expectations last evening does not have one but does have ample moments for all the Ilayathalapathy fans out there to cheer in joy and aptly serves the purpose of raising the expectations about the film in the minds of not just Vijay fans but also the general movie buffs. That way, we can safely say that young director Atlee has done a brilliant job in packaging the trailer and we can be confident that he would have followed suit with the same class and form in the main film as well.

The trailer of course gives room to guess the story of the film but we don't want to detail on that because that will only be our perception at least until the film's release. We want to let everyone to perceive the content of the film from the trailer in their own way.

That apart, the trailer definitely promises extraordinary mass moments from Vijay, family sentiment, romance and a cute father-daughter relationship. The exchanges between Vijay and Radhika who plays his mother in the film come like the sweet cherry on the pudding. Especially the way Vijay utters the dialogue "Apdiyellaam Chollakoodadhu" to his mother in his unique way of modulation is sure to increase the number of admirers for the star.

The cute performance of debutante Baby Nainika will win over the hearts of audience. The lead ladies Samantha and Amy Jackson look ravishing as ever and the trailer shows the scope of both the actress getting equal screen space and powerful roles as promised in the audio launch function.

The trailer also successfully lays down a suspense element surrounding Vijay's character which will easily make the fans and movie buffs desperate for the release of the film.

G.V.Prakash Kumar's re-recording pumps up the adrenaline in the mass scenes of Vijay and leave a lump in throat in sentiment scenes. George C. Williams has given eye pleasing visuals and brilliant angles and cuts with his cinematography and the film can be expected to be a visual treat as well.

In short, the Theri' trailer makes us all eagerly await the official announcement on the release date of the film.
