The secret of 3 Vijays is out. Atlee's 2nd, GV's 50th, and yet another feather on Ilayathalapathy's hat, Theri is an impressive thriller at multiple levels. Albeit, wolf whistles are a norm with mass hero movies, but here we have a guide for you to clear your throat, muscle your tongue and get ready to cheer your heart out for your hero, in Theri.

1. It takes a while for the first powerful scene surfaces, but all the patience was completely worth seeing Joseph Kuruvilla taking all the beating but springing up as a protective farther, as a menacing hero, in the first stunt sequence.


2. As the movie transcends quickly into flashback, get ready to laugh your heart out and clap, as Vijay Kumar neatly drives home the point that it is easy to take to violence, but takes efforts to study and grow up intellectually. Lesson learnt: 3rd std. GK.


3. It takes knack to inset a hugely successful peer's brand humility to gracefully express that inspiration. This combination has worked magic in the scene where Vijay dances to Dhanush's hit song, Otha Sollala.


4. You are sure to be awed by Vijay's calculative stunt, on the roads, for children who are made to beg. However, although he comes across as strong, but Vijay Kumar gets emotional way too easily.

Now that it has released and witnessed record success in shaping up as a mass movie, it is no big secret that the crux of all of the revenge is crafted on a rip off of the disheartening rape case that the nation stood a painful witness to, and is still ashamed of. But the comeback from a police officer, speaks for the emotion in everybody's heart, in reaction to the crime. The scene at the bridge, and the dialogues that follow are true Theri breed.


6. Near interval, there is a block of masala of emotion and action. Speaking the truth, but on a light note, the confrontation following the restaurant incident is another catchy scene.There are far fewer such mass scenes in the second half, nonetheless Atlee has compensated for emotion overdose in two lasting memories.


7. This one is not a Vijay-scene, but the true "mass" comes from a little kid. A humble bar of chocolate, never before, has been this powerful. And the smirk on the child's face steals the show!


8. It is an unwritten mandate that the climax be powerful. But this time, it is not a thriller action sequence and hard punches, but the choice of words for a powerful dialogue, that calls for all the hooting.

That's not all. Theri is the powerful entertainment that you have longed to watch, yet strong in emotions and in undertones in action. In his first outing, "darling" was everywhere in the air; this time, he has hit the right note with a different tag. Theri baby!
