There is a extraordinary positive buzz surrounding Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' which is marching ahead like a lion to the hit the screens on April 14 with a massive theatrical counts across the globe. Some petty issues between distributors and theater owners reported in certain areas are heading towards an amicable solution and the ticket bookings in those 'areas of concern' are expected to begin tomorrow.

Following this comes another fantastic news for the team 'Theri' especially its producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu who has produced and marketed the film with brilliant promotions. The U certified film has got the much needed 30% Entertainment Tax Exemption which means the theatrical gross will be the net revenue for the stakeholders.

There were rumors doing rounds that despite getting a U certificate, the film may not get the exemption granted by the State Government, as it releases when the Election code of conduct is in force. However this seems to be a misconception as reliable sources reveal that the much needed tax benefit has been accorded for the film.

Directed by Atlee, 'Theri' stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
