Strong Malayalam Connect in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri'

Its a well known fact that Ilayathalapathy Vijay has a huge fan base in Kerala and he is as popular as the Malayalam superstars among Keralites. His films in the recent years have been super hits in the neighbourhood state and now his upcoming film 'Theri' is also all set to have a grand release.
Now we learn that 'Theri' will be extra special for Vijay's Malayalee fans. It has got a strong Kerala and Malayalam connect than any other Vijay film.
In a recent interview to a daily newspaper, the film's director Atlee has revealed some interesting secrets.
In the film's trailer Vijay utters his name as Joseph Kuruvilla which is a common name in Kerala. 40% of 'Theri' has been shot in Kerala. The film inlcudes many Malayalam dialogues which were written by Atlee in Tamil and translated by his Malayalee friends.
Malayalam actor Pradheep Kottayam who acted in a small role as a Malayalee in 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya' and Atlee's debut film 'Raja Rani' has acted in an important role in the film. This apart more than 200 Malayalam junior artists have also acted in the film.
So are we going to see Vijay speaking in Malayalam in 'Theri'. Well, we will have to wait until April 14 for that.
