Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' has been dubbed in Telugu and the release rights of the same has been acquired by popular Tollywood producer Dil Raju. The title of the Atlee directorial film's Telugu version will be announced today.

Actor Vijay's fan base across the South Indian states is getting enlarged film after film. The Telugu dubbed versions of most of his recent films have emerged successful. The dubbed version of 'Jilla' -whose original released in 2014 January- released last year and received good patronage among Telugu speaking audience. This has definitely enhanced the business potential of Vijay starrers in Telugu.

The film's lead ladies Samantha and Amy Jackson also have a huge fan base among Telugu audience. Given these factors we can expect 'Theri' to make wonders in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box offices.

We will have to wait for some more time to know whether the Telugu version will release on the same day as Tamil version that is April 14 or on a later date.
