Indiaglitz had reported earlier that Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' will be ready for the viewing of Censor Board by the last week of March. Now we learn from reliable sources that 'Theri' may be sent for censor viewing today (March 28) and the film will get its censor rating within this evening.

We will however have to wait for official confirmation on the same.,

Directed by Atlee, 'Theri' is touted as an entertainer with equal dosage of action, family sentiment, romance and comedy. From the trailer we could guess that the film will have some really good scenes about father-daughter relationship as Nainika plays the daughter of Vijay in the film. So, like every other Vijay starrer in the recent years, this film will also be a suitable one for all age groups and it is expected to win a clean U censor certificate hands down.

The film has been produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu and it will be hitting the screens on April 14. The theatrical release rights for USA, Canada, Coimbatore as well as the Telugu dubbed version in the Telugu speaking states have been sold already. Business talks for the other areas is happening in full swing.

'Theri' stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Director Mahendran plays the lead villain. Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhu, 'Naan Kadavul' Rajendran. and others have acted in supporting characters.

Musical score is by G.V.Prakash Kumar, whose songs are already topping the charts.
