Amid preparations for a grand release of his upcoming film Puli` actor Vijay is busy shooting for his 59th film directed by Atlee.

According to sources close to the unit 40% of the film has been canned so far. The film went on floors in July first week and the first schedule was completed in Chennai. After this the team has recently shot some important scenes in ECR. The second schedule will be wrapped up soon.

The source reports that Vijay 59` cast and crew will be packing up their bags for Goa next month for the third schedule of shooting and the locations are being finalized now. After this director Atlee has planned to shoot a duet song in green locales of China.

Ilayathalapathy` Vijay plays a cop in this film and it is being rumored that the team is planning to have Moondru Mugam` as the title. The 1982 super hit film of Superstar Rajinikanth came with the same title. However, there is no official confirmation on the title as yet.

The film produced on a grand scale by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu stars Samantha and Amy Jackson as lead ladies and music is being scored by G.V.Prakash.
