On Tuesday, Sun Pictures, the makers of Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited movie 'Beast', officially announced that the film will have a theatrical release on April 13. With the release date announcement, the filmmakers also released a new poster featuring Vijay. The poster has Thalapathy Vijay in a rugged look, sitting with a gun in his hands. Touted to be an action-comedy entertainer, the upcoming Nelson Dilipkumar directorial has been censored with U/A certificate. The film has Pooja Hegde and Selvaraghavan in important roles. As the movie's songs- ‘Arabic Kuthu’ and ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ - composed by Anirudh have already grabbed the attention across the globe, fans can’t wait for the trailer to be released.

Meanwhile, Actor Yash’s pan-Indian film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, the sequel to the blockbuster hit 'KGF: Chapter 1', will also be released on the same weekend, April 14. As both the movies have high expectations, fans are impatiently waiting to see both the films locking horns on the same weekend. Take a look at the announcement -
