Director John Mahendran, son of veteran director Mahendran who’s known for his classics like Mullum Malarum, had made his debut as a director in Kollywood with the Vijay, Genelia D’Souza starrer Sachein in 2005.
While the movie was loved by Vijay fans and was a commercial success as well, John went on to direct the movie Aaniver and later also worked on the screenplay and dialogues of several movies including the recent superstar Rajnikanth starrer Darbar.
Now John Mahendran is all set to make his debut as an actor with the movie Casino, which is directed by debutant Mark Joel and stars Madhamatty Rangaraj of Mehendi circus fame and Vani bhojan of Oh my kadavule fame. The movie is produced by Rangaraj himself and will have music by Stanley Xavier.
