A childhood picture of actor Vijay along with his mother and late sister has been doing the rounds on social media, invoking emotions in people in memory of the tragic passing of the actor’s sister.
It is known that Vijay’s sister, Vidhya Chandrasekhar, passed away when she was 2 years old. His mother once stated that Vijay, who was a talkative, naughty, and hyperactive child, became silent after his sister’s death.
In the 2005 film Sukran, produced and directed by S.A. Chandrasekhar, Vidhya’s story was depicted. Vijay played an extended cameo in the movie as a lawyer.
