Producer PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens have apparently accepted to compensate the loss suffered by distributors who screened Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer 'Puli' which unexpectedly failed at the box office.

Reliable sources reveal that Selvakumar and Thameens have accepted to repay 30% of the losses incurred by distributors. One half of the payment will be settled now and other half will be settled after the release of 'Pokkiri Raja' produced by the former and the other half before the release of 'Iru Mugan' produced by the latter.

There were reports suggesting that distributors planned to ban the release of 'Pokkiri Raja' due to 'Puli' loss and now this issue has been amicably settled.

'Pokkiri Raja' directed by Ramprakash Rayappa with Jiiva and Hansika in the lead roles will be hitting the screens on March 4, 2016 and it has acquired a U certificate from the Censor board.
