Vijay Deverakonda's next film dropped?

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda had made his debut in Tamil last year with the political entertainer Nota directed by Anand Shankar and the movie was released in Telugu as well. Though the movie had not succeeded, he has got a fan base in Tamil Nadu due to Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam.
The actor had started his next bilingual movie Hero, which was to be directed by Anand Annamalai who had worked in Kaaka Muttai, and co-starring Malavika Mohanan who had played Sasikumar's pair in Petta. The movie was launched before few months and the team had shot some sequences.
However, the latest speculation making rounds is that this film has been dropped, as the producers Mythri Movie Makers were not satisfied with the output of the film shot so far, and decided not to go ahead despite spending several crores. An official announcement on the film getting shelved is expected soon.The film had been in news as it has the same title as Siva Karthikeyan's next movie directed by Irumbuthirai Mithran.
