Their films clashed with each other in Deepavali race. And now, Vijay, who played a saviour of the masses in 'Velayudham', and AR Murugadoss, the man behind '7aum Arivu', are coming together for a movie, which will be produced by the Ilayathalapathy's father SA Chandrasekaran.
"Since this is the first production venture of SAC after he took over as the president of Tamil Film Producers Council, he wants the project to be grand in all aspects. He has given a free hand to Murugadoss in budget," say sources which are close to the development.
It is said that the film will hit the floors in the middle of next month in Tiruchendur, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga. "From then on, the shooting will take place in a brisk manner and the film will be shot in Mumbai, Chennai and a couple of foreign locales," sources say.
Priyanka Chopra is expected to be the heroine while a search is on for the other leading lady. Harris Jayaraj, the favourite of Murugadoss, will score the music. "Shooting will be completed in four months time and you can expect the film by the middle of next year."
