The action hero of Kannada cinema ‘Dhuniya’ Vijay has immediately reacted when the issue of holding the Dr Vishnuvaradhan film festival at Kapali theatre where his ‘Kari Chirathe’ will be running for the third week at that time.

The issue of holding the Dr Vishnu film festival at the heart of film activities in Gandhinagar was immensely liked by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan. But none of the theatres have come forward for this proposal was explained by Anirudh, son in law of Dr Vishnu.

Immediately the idea of conducting Dr Vishnu film festival at least for one day on September 18 at Kapali theatre was raised and action hero Vijay was contacted as his film ‘Kari Chirathe’ will be running in that theatre.

Vijay immediately reacted to this suggestion. He contacted Dr Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan over telephone and agreed to vacate his film ‘Kari Chirathe’ from Kapali theatre for one day to accommodate Dr Vishnuvaradhan film festival ‘Simhavalokana’.

For such a gesture of a colleague, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan thanked Vijay for his magnanimity.
