Earlier we had reported that Vikram is trying to rope in Ilayathalapathi Vijay and Thala Ajith to make an appearance in his 'Spirit of Chennai' album that he is presently directing with a galaxy of film industry stars.

Now we learn from sources that Vijay has given his nod to be a part of the song and is expected to shoot for the same soon.

Ajith, sources say is unlikely to do this favour to Vikram as the former is undergoing rest after the surgery that was held in November 2015. But still Thala's participation has not been ruled out.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara who will be pairing up with Vikram in the film directed by Anand Shankar shot for the song yesterday in Chennai for one hour.
