As we had reported on Monday, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has resumed shooting for his 60th film in Chennai after a brief gap. The shooting of this film directed by Bharathan of 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' fame has been progressing for the past few months.

Now we learn from a reliable source that the entire shoot will be wrapped up within the end of September. Then the post production related work will take three months. If all things go as per the plan, fans and film buffs can celebrate the Pongal festival 2017, by watching 'Vijay 60' in theaters.

After finishing the current Chennai schedule the 'Vijay 60' team will be moving to Hyderabad for a long schedule. With that the talkie portions will be completed. After that the team will fly to an European location to can a duet song between the lead pair Vijay and Keerthy Suresh.

'Vijay 60' is being produced by the prestigious Vijaya Productions banner. Santhosh Narayanan is rendering the musical score for the film.
