Kollywood Strike - Why Thalapathy 62 allowed to continue shooting

The Tamil Film Producers Council had passed an order that no new films will be released after March 16 and have also stopped all shootings from that date.  Crews that have gone abroad have also been asked to comeback before the 23rd.  However Vijay's 'Thalapathy 62' is continuing filming at a location opposite the GH and questions were raised .

The TFPC secretary S.S. Durairaj has clarified that 'Thalapathy 62' choreographers Ram- Lakshman do not have dates for the next two months and thats why an important fight sequence featuring Vijay has been allowed for few more days.

The relaxation is not only for 'Thalapathy 62' but also for Samuthirakani's 'Nadodigal 2' and Dulquer Salman's 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' which have genuine reasons for shooting extension.
