Huge! 'Sarkar' sold for a phenomenal price!!!

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' fever is catching up high. The film is getting ready to hit the screens for the occasion of Deepavali festival in the first week of November. The audio release function happened on October 2 and it is a big hit especially due to the politically laden speech of Vijay.
Now the pre-release business of this A.R.Murugadoss directorial has begun. Sources reveal the distribution rights of the Madurai city alone has been sold for a whopping Rs.10.5 crores This is the biggest price given for a film in the city and adjoining areas and if the film recovers the cost it will be a new box office bench mark. Given the over the top expectations on the film we can be certain that 'Sarkar' will achieve that.
'Sarkar' has been produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale and AR Rahman has provided music score. The film stars Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
