Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s much expected Theri` is hitting the big screens by April, 14 as the distribution rights are being sold for a record price, in areas across the globe. The Atlee directorial which has Samantha and Amy Jackson as the lead ladies, has been rated as U` recently.

Now from sources close to the actor we hear that April 14 will be an important date not just because it is the release date of 'Theri' but also because the star's next film 'Vijay 60' will be launched on the same day. Sources added that it is Vijay's wish to commence the film on April 14, to which the team headed by director Bharathan happily agreed. The film will be shot for a few days at a stretch and then there will be a pretty long break. The shooting will be resumed only after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Vijay 60` has Keerthy Suresh as the love interest of Vijay and the music is being composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

We can expect an official announcement from the 'Vijay 60' team about the commencement of the much anticipated project, very soon.
