As we had reported earlier today, Ilayathalapathy Vijay's grand Pongal release 'Bairavaa' has collected Rs.3.38 crores in its first four days that included two holidays.

Now we bring you the update on the whopping collections made by the Bharathan directorial project in Tamil Nadu.

According to sources close to Tamil Nadu Box Office analysts, 'Bairavaa' has collected around Rs.42 crores in four days between January 12 to January 15. The biggest contributor is the North Arcot and South Arcot distribution areas.

Here is the breakup of certain important distribution areas.

Chennai - Rs.3.38 crores
Tirunelveli & Kayakumari - Rs.2.8 crores
Trichy & Tanjore - Rs.4.75 crores
Salem - Rs.4.2 crores
North Arcot & South Arcot - Rs.5 crores
Tamil Nadu statewide gross - Rs.42 crores

It is to be noted that 'Bairavaa' has been exempted from the 30% Entertainment Tax which means the net revenue is almost equal tot he gross collections for the stake holders.
