Millions of Thalapthy fans have been waiting for this moment. Since the announcement of ‘Vijay 62’, anticipation has been on the rise. We can’t blame them too, it’s a Vijay film. But no more waiting. The makers announced to give us a taste of ‘Thalapathy 62’ with a first look release and title announcement, and here it is.

No more we shall call it ‘Vijay 62’ as the film has been titled as ‘Sarkar’. Well the title makes us think that it is going to be political movie. We know that Vijay has been always bold enough to include political messages in his movies, but with a full blown political title like this, we could expect the movie to go beyond our expectations.

In the first look poster, a rad looking Vijay oozes swag as he stylishly lights up his cigarrete. Dark shades, an awesome beard, a black jacket- the actor seems like the definiton of style. Not to mention the intricately designed backdrop with high rises and skyscrapers lit with light-work like designs. Sure this is an excellent treat to fans.

'Sarkar' has Vijay essaying the lead role with Keerthy Suresh essaying the female lead. Academy award winning composer AR Rahman is scoring the music for the film which is being directed by AR Murugadoss. The project is being bankrolled under the banner of Sun Pictures.
