Famous Tamil cinematographers Vijay Karthik Kanan and Yamini Yagnamurthy got married in Chennai on Thursday. The couple worked together in Halitha Thameem's anthology romance film 'Sillu Karupatti' handling different episodes and were reportedly dating for the past three years.

Vijay Karthik Kannan gained critical acclaim for his aesthetic shots in Amala Paul's 'Aadai' and most recently Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' directed by Nelson. His upcoming film is Vignesh Shivan's 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara hitting screens worldwide on April 28th. He is also the lensman for Santhanam's 'Gulu Gulu' directed by Rathnakumar.

Yamini Yagnamurthy an erstwhile associate of P.C. Sreeram is awaiting the release of her first film 'Saani Kaayidham' directed by Arun Matheshwaran and starring Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan in the lead. She was also on board Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven' starring Dhanush and Indhuja Ravichandran but opted out midway.
